Getting used to using iMovie through the production of my visual pitch, above shows the use of iMovie combined with these of downloading and importing my chosen soundtrack for the pitch of my trailer. For this I explored the sound of Dubstep as I have explained in the music idea's section of this blog. An artist called Skrillex was imported into iMovie and edited in this program. Although it focuses on photo/video editing in the program, music adjustments and cutting can also be performed. For this I altered the sound levels of this track and cut it to fit the length of my pitch. I edited the visuals of this pitch by dragging the imagery from the far right of the program shown in the image, and placed them along the bottom bar. Where it says editing, I searched through the techniques available to emphasise the effect I wanted.
Where it says clips, themes, media etc, I clicked on editing and this gave a variety of effects for the videos imported into the software. as you can see in the image it has such things as a zooming motion to distort the image, I chose this to help portray the darker side of my trailer.
